Kamola
To Corbett Fall – 3 Kms. Approx. |
|
|
Our
vehicle drops you to the small Hamlet of Kamola
in ‘Corbett Country’ about 20 Kms. from the lodge.
The trek starts with a walk through the village
where one can see the simple lifestyle of the rural
folk – a ‘Panchakki’, watermill which still grinds
the grain for villagers and one will arrive at a
stream running along the foothills. The trek takes
you across an area extremely rich in bio-diversity
especially the floral species and ends near a lovely
waterfall, now named ‘Corbett Falls’. Your lunch
awaits you near the fall where you can take a refreshing
wash or even a shower under the fall.
